Follow all of Saturday’s NCAA Tournament second round games with USA TODAY Sports’ live updates.
March 20’s slate of March Madness games may not have delivered a High Point-Wisconsin-esque upset, but it certainly had its share of nailbiters.
The day was bookended by a pair of blue bloods sweating out their first-round games, with Kentucky barely surviving Santa Clara in an overtime showdown and UConn outlasting No. 15 Furman to avoid what would have been a truly stunning upset.
Texas Tech and Virginia saw Akron and Wright State, respectively, hang around for far too long before eventually putting them away, whereas Miami Ohio’s Cinderella season turned into a pumpkin before it could get any traction in the postseason against Tennessee.
USA TODAY Sports has a team of journalists covering the Men’s NCAA Tournament to keep you up to date with every point scored, rebound grabbed and game won.
