We’re now just two weeks out from Coachella, meaning we will soon be spotting stars in their best boho-chic looks at the annual music festival in Indio, California. After all, half the fun of attending Coachella is seeing which groovy, free-spirited looks celebrities are wearing on the grounds (in the VIP section, of course). One A-lister who’s already embracing the sartorial mood? That would be Margot Robbie, who was spotted out in West Hollywood yesterday wearing an elevated take on bohemian dressing.
It’s certainly a new vibe for Robbie, who, as of late, has stuck to wearing all things Chanel. (Her Wuthering Heights press tour also saw her lean into more dramatic, darkly-romantic, and totally avant-garde fashions.) And yet yesterday, Robbie went more easy-breezy, pairing a black strapless romper with a slouchy brown leather jacket, and her trustee cowboy boots. Clearly she is feeling this new boho wardrobe focus—she wore the exact same outfit earlier this month, too.

With her low-slung, extra-wide belt, the ensemble feels reminiscent of the looks we’d see at Coachella in the 2000s—but it still feels pretty contemporary. That could be because fashion has been obsessed with reviving boho-chic these past few seasons, thanks to labels like Chloé with Chemena Kamali at the helm.
Robbie has flirted with the aesthetic before, pairing glitzy vests with flared jeans. But the real question is: Will we be seeing Margot Robbie at Coachella in even more bohemian outfits? Anyone who goes to the festival knows that cowboy boots are the shoe of the festival, so she’s clearly already on-point in the shoe department. We wonder which headliners she would hit up… Would we spot her dancing it up to Sabrina Carpenter? Or swooning over Justin Bieber during his set? We’re starting the rumor of Robbie being a devout Belieber now.
