MARION, Ill. — A local spotlight is set to shine on area performers later this month.
“Marion Makes Music: A Local Talent Showcase” will take place Saturday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at the Market Street Music Conservatory in Marion.
The event will feature musicians of all ages and styles, offering the community a chance to experience a wide range of local talent in one setting.
Organizers say the showcase is designed to celebrate the region’s music scene while giving performers an opportunity to take the stage and share their work.
Community members are invited to attend for an evening of live entertainment and support for local artists.
Those interested in performing were asked to submit their name, age, type of act, and a short video in advance for consideration.
The event is open to the public.
