According to a fashion source, the dress went missing from the photo shoot, and it’s believed Meghan was spotted wearing the dress in a Netflix promo for her forthcoming holiday special.
Meghan reportedly “took the dress without asking” and then wore it during filming, which is pretty bold on her part to do so, it’s being said.
It’s been three years since the photo shoot, and if there were any hard feelings about the dress going missing, they may have been reawaken seeing the missing dress on-screen.
The trailer for With Love, Meghan Holiday Celebration just released with Meghan wearing a dress eerily similar to the one that went missing.
It’s not typical for a celebrity to keep the clothing or product that they may be wearing or using in an advertisement, it’s understood that it’s on loan.
It’s possible the organizations involved may gift the merchandise as a thank you or as free advertising, but it would be agreed upon in advance.
This isn’t the first time something has gone missing from a Meghan Markle shoot, with the Duchess spotted wearing a Chanel tweed dress out on the town, that she wore for a profile on The Cut.
It seems Meghan may have cashed in on the five finger discount.
