Meme, Celeb Party Or Investigation

Somewhere between saying “I’m a liver” and photobombing every star-kid selfie, Orry graduated from inside joke to full-blown fashion character. Not actor, not singer, not even a classic influencer — just a man whose primary occupation appears to be getting dressed, loudly.

In a scene where most Indian men still cling to navy blazers and white sneakers, Orry shows up in sequinned suits, Barbie-pink co-ords, cow costumes, corseted fits and ombré jackets like every outing is a themed party. Love him or loathe him, your thumb never scrolls past him in silence.

Recently, he was spotted, rather surrounded by paps, during his visit to the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell. He was summoned and questioned by the ANC. Reportedly, his name has come up in an active ₹252 crore mephedrone drugs case investigation. No charges have been framed against him as of the latest reports.

What followers couldn’t help notice is that even under the cloud of a high-profile investigation, his sartorial confidence remained intact.

Orry turned up at the ANC office in Ghatkopar in a brown patterned shirt, glasses firmly on, looking more like a man en route to a fashion week fitting than someone walking into a narcotics probe. A ₹1,95,000 Miu Miu shirt and ₹12,000 Salt Murphy trousers finished with ₹65,000 Miu Miu glasses and ₹7,500 Converse sneakers.

Yes, like we said, whether you stan him or side-eye him, you can’t scroll past him. How does he do that?!

The “liver” line could’ve ended as a viral punchline. Instead, he turned it into brand language. He leaned into the absurdity — campy silhouettes, maximal colour, drama-first styling — until “Orry” became less a person and more a fashion archetype: the friend who always overdresses and never apologises.

Even when real-life controversies and headlines swirl around him, one thing doesn’t change: the clothes.

Where most people retreat into hoodies and caps, Orry doubles down — bigger shoulders, shinier fabrics, fussier accessories. You can argue about who he is, but he makes sure you talk about what he’s wearing.

Stop dressing like an apology – even if life is chaotic, your clothes don’t have to blend into the background.

Orry’s biggest trick isn’t a specific outfit. It’s the refusal to dress like he’s just “fitting in”. In a country where most guys are still negotiating whether pink is “too much”, he’s already three outfits ahead, asking a different question. If you’re going to be watched anyway, why not turn up like the main character?
