It looks like Microsoft India has just rolled out its cloud gaming service, Xbox Cloud Gaming (previously known as Project xCloud) in the market. This move was first spotted on the Xbox India subreddit; however, we haven’t seen an official announcement from the company.
IGN India has confirmed that the Cloud Gaming option is available and works without issue on the Xbox app. However, it isn’t available through the web browser at the time of writing.

This move comes just about a month after Microsoft increased the prices of its Xbox Game Pass subscription plans worldwide. However, after immense backlash, the company clarified that this does not apply to existing subscribers and is only applicable to new members in select markets, including India.
While there is no official announcement from Xbox social channels at the time of writing, and the Xbox website currently does not show Xbox Cloud Gaming in India, users can expect an announcement soon.
In other news, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service, GeForce Now, is also scheduled to launch in India this November and will be available across three tiers: Ultimate, Performance, and a free tier. Other cloud gaming services like OnePlay already exist as alternatives across the country.
