This size-to-resolution ratio is great for keeping pixel density high and picture quality crisp and clear, but it’s also excellent for competitive gaming, too, as it’s not too big that it puts you at a competitive disadvantage. On top of that, it’s also a good size for productivity and watching content, without being so big that it drives the price sky high or takes up too much space.
Things to consider
I’d say as far as QD-OLED gaming monitors go, this would be a good, more affordable option that’s going to deliver excellent picture quality; however, it does scale back in some areas that may be important to you, depending on your primary usage. One area that stands out is its lack of AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which, to be fair, is only really found in more premium QD-OLED monitors, which are some of the best you can get. That said, FreeSync Premium Pro dramatically reduces lag when you’re using HDR, which is important if you want a smoother experience when playing games at max settings. If you want a monitor with this, I’d say the best call is to up your budget by around $100 more, and you should start finding it.
