The Brooklyn Nets host the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday in the first game of this home-and-home series.
The Milwaukee Bucks travel to Brooklyn on Tuesday night to take on the Nets in Game 3 of this series, which is tied at a game apiece. The biggest news heading into this game is an NBA investigation into a dispute between the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The two-time MVP has stated that he wants to play and is healthy, but is being limited by the team. Will this be the last we see the Greek Freak as part of the organization he helped bring an NBA title to in 50 years? Antetokounmpo is listed as out with a knee injury for this game against Brooklyn. The Bucks will also be without Gary Trent Jr., Bobby Portis, Kyle Kuzma, and Ryan Rollins. Even though Milwaukee is 11 games up on Brooklyn, with the Bucks’ injury status, taking the series lead on Tuesday won’t be a walk in the park. The Bucks will host the series finale on Friday, the second game of this home-and-home against Brooklyn. The Nets got a rare dominating victory the last time these two teams met, on Dec. 12, when Brooklyn won at home 127-82. Egor Demin scored 17 points to lead the team, and the Nets matched the franchise margin of victory with the rout, never trailing against the injury-riddled Bucks. Milwaukee is still the 2.5-point favorite to end a three-game road losing streak on Tuesday.
