Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. The Greek PM took part on Wednesday in the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, joining global leaders as part of a two-day visit to India.
The gathering centers on shaping a global policy framework for artificial intelligence under the theme, “People-Planet-Progress,” with an emphasis on practical results. Mitsotakis’ participation underscores Greece’s bid to serve as a bridge between Europe and the Global South in the debate over artificial intelligence, positioning the country at the forefront of geoeconomic governance in technology.
He is accompanied by Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou. Mitsotakis attended an official dinner hosted by Modi. On Thursday, he is scheduled to address the summit at Bharat Mandapam and meet with Modi at 1 p.m.
