Mom-Approved Spring Fashion Deals Start at $9 on Amazon

If there’s one thing my mom loves more than a good fashion find, it’s a good fashion find on sale. Some of my earliest memories with her involve wandering around Century 21, agog at impressive discounts on brightly-colored flip-flops, cool graphic T-shirts, and cloud-soft cashmere. Over the years, my style has changed countless times, but the lessons she instilled in me about the value of the sales section have stuck. I’m 27 now, and my mom and I text about deals almost daily.

Lucky for both of us, Amazon makes sale shopping unbelievably easy—especially right now, during the sitewide Big Spring Sale, which runs through March 31. Each one of its online aisles is discounted, and the fashion finds are especially good. I rounded up some of our shared favorites, all of which are on sale and at risk of selling out.

My mom is very picky about jeans, so when she texts me a pair, I pay attention. We’re both into this pre-cuffed style, which makes them look far more expensive than they are. My mom’s best friend bought a pair and loved them right out of the box.

Dr. Scholl’s has long been one of my mom’s favorite brands (also true for Sarah Jessica Parker), though it’s been a while since she’s picked up a new pair. These classic, chic slides are currently in her cart for spring and summer, thanks to their lightweight design, comfortable arch support, and versatility. I could see her wearing these with white cropped pants and a light blue oversized button-down.

“Annie! This incredible, expensive-looking, just-the-right-size, chic bag is an outfit-completer,” she told me, adding that I’m free to borrow it from her whenever I please. The quality is impressive, and the spaciousness is a major win.

As my mom and I stow away our puffers for spring, we’re both on the hunt for a lightweight, polished-looking jacket to have our backs through annoying transitional weather. She texted me this pick, writing, “I love everything about this jacket—it looks expensive, the cut is classic, and the pockets are great.”

My mom and I agree that you can’t go wrong with a pair of New Balance sneakers. They’re podiatrist-approved, co-signed by celebrity It Girls (hi, Hailey Bieber and Jennifer Aniston), and look divine with any pair of jeans.

Scoop-neck T-shirts are one of my mom’s favorite cuts, and I totally understand why. They’re just as easy to style as your favorite crewneck pullover, but with a little more aesthetic appeal. “The material is thick but still soft and comfortable,” one reviewer appreciated. “It feels high quality without being heavy.”

When I picture my mom in a pair of jeans, it’s usually in a kick-flare, cropped cut. This on-sale style is a wardrobe staple—especially in black—and has a nice amount of stretch.
