Movie Madness previews screening of Torque to close out 2000’s action series

Portland’s Movie Madness is closing out its film series on 2000s’ action with Torque. This rowdy 2004 action-comedy satirizes the Fast and Furious series (which debuted a few years earlier in 2001).

Starring Adam Scott, Ice Cube, and Jaime Pressly, MM describes the film as “visually inspired by everything from spaghetti westerns and video games to Wile E. Coyote cartoons and Hong Kong cinema.”

Tickets are available for the 7:30 p.m. screening on March 4 here.

Kendall Beck of Movie Madness joined ARC PDX on Monday to talk about the film and other events. Watch the full interview in the video player above.
