Jeezy is suiting up and showing up once more at PH Live.
The recording star who brought a record-setting, 101-piece orchestra to Planet Hollywood in December is back with “The Legend of the Snowman” for 10 dates beginning May 1-2, continuing on select weekends through June 27.
This is the rare Strip residency show (or, rare show anywhere) with a black-tie dress code. This move will help allay complaints that Vegas audiences don’t dress for shows anymore.
The show seizes the momentum of Jeezy’s run last year at PH Live, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of his “Thug Motivation 101” release.
With his 101-piece Color of Noize Orchestra, the headliner born Jay Wayne Jenkins sold out PH Live and claimed a Guinness World Record for largest orchestra for a hip-hop concert. The “Snowman” reference hits to Jeezy’s past life as a drug dealer, rising to rap pioneer.
Jeezy’s live show is a unique mix of symphonically reimagined hip-hop tracks, custom-arranged for the PH Live stage. Production master Derrick Hodge has composed and conducts the orchestral experience. Emmy Award-winning music director Adam Blackstone is also returning. Both are bass virtuosos.
Jeezy told NPR in 2025, “I know my first time ever seeing a symphony and a(n) orchestra was the first time I performed with one. So I wanted to take that experience around the world, ‘cause there’s a lot of Black and brown boys and girls and adults that haven’t even seen this experience ever.”
And the 48-year-old artist told People of his Strip foray, “This isn’t just a win for me — it’s a moment for the culture, for music, and for Vegas.”
