Music is in the air: Downtown Live in Longview kicks off spring concert series

Downtown Live returned Friday to bring the sounds of spring to Heritage Plaza at the corner of Green and Methvin streets in Longview.
The free concert also features drinks for sale as well as food trucks.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair.
Downtown Longview continues 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays through May 29.
In addition, a special America 250 Kickoff Celebration concert is scheduled April 11 with performer The Tuxedo Cats.
The spring performance schedule is:
April 10: Drifted Harmony;
April 17: Harvest Moon Country Grass;
April 24: Lee Mathis and the Brutally Handsome;
May 1: 3am Band;
May 8: Plush;
May 15: Low D;
May 22: Shelia and the Caddo Kats; and
May 29: Texas Soul Syndicate.
