Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has often called himself the best two-way player in the NBA this season, referring to his prowess on offense and defense.

Based on his exceptional interviews, however, maybe he should start calling himself a three-way player.
Brown is never afraid to keep it real and speak his mind, providing great quotes, insights and thoughtful interviews on a nightly basis. He also doesn’t hold back when it comes to criticizing referees, even if his candor gets him fined.
One person who appreciates Brown’s honesty is ESPN NBA analyst Brian Windhorst, who liked Brown’s comments about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s foul-baiting during the Celtics’ loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.
“Jaylen is going to be First Team All-NBA. He’s also going to be First Team All-Interview Team,” Windhorst said on Friday’s episode of “First Take.” “He’s very real on the court and he’s very real in his interviews.”

Brown’s SGA comments came on the heels of him getting ejected during Tuesday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs, which he was also still mad about. He had a lot of beef with the refs this week, and rightfully so.
While many athletes keep things bland and generic during interviews to avoid controversy, Brown’s the opposite. He answers questions directly and truthfully and isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers.
Brown is many things on and off the court, but he’s never dull.
