On Wednesday evening, the Boston Celtics played the Golden State Warriors (at home).
The Celtics won by a score of 120-99.
Jayson Tatum finished with 24 points, ten rebounds, two assists and one steal while shooting 7/15 from the field and 5/11 from three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.

Tatum also made NBA history with his performance.

Tatum has now played in six games since returning to action.
He is averaging 20.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field.

The Celtics improved to 46-23 in 69 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won seven out of ten).
Following the Warriors, the Celtics will play their next game on Friday when they travel to Memphis for a showdown with the Grizzlies.

In addition to Tatum’s strong night, Jaylen Brown also went off for 32 points.

On the other side, the Warriors dropped to 33-36 in 69 games, which has them as the 10th seed in the Western Conference.
They have won just two out of their last ten games.
Following Boston, the Warriors will visit the Detroit Pistons on Friday night in Michigan.
