You did have a fascinating article on Yahoo Sports about a potential revision or a way to acknowledge all of the great coaches that we have this past season in the NBA.
Break that idea down for us.
So, you know, if you look at, you know, the NBA awards, you, you have the MVP, you have All-NBA, you have Defensive Player of the Year, you have All-Defensive teams, you have Rookie of the Year, you have All-Rookie teams.
Why not expand that, you know, for coaches?
I, I do think that coaches often have that conundrum of it’s the player’s team when they win, and it’s the coach’s team when they lose.

And, and I think that’s a bit unfair, you know, on, from a coach’s perspective on their part.
And I do think that there is shou- there should be a way to celebrate, you know, various coaching jobs because this season has had a number of people, you know, punching above their weight a- and putting forth an admirable product.
You have guys like Charles Lee who just took down, you know, the Bo- the, the Knicks that won seven in a row.
You, you have people like Joe Mazzulla who defied the odds after the Celtics front office kind of stripped their roster for the luxury tax and now they’re, they’re w- w- within a eye shot of the number one seed.

You have people like Mitch Johnson, you know, obviously taking the Spurs to where they are now.
J.B. Bickerstaff, you know, no one thought the Pistons were gonna be the number one seed by any means over the next three to five years and look where they are now.
There, you can go to Jordan Odd in Phoenix.
There are a number of coaches that are doing their thing and I do think that there should be a way to incentivize and celebrate those people that are, that are, that are going above and beyond on a, on a ni- on a night-to-night basis.
