‘Emily in Paris, ‘ the popular Netflix series, is moving to Greece for season 6, it was announced. Although the exact locations have not been revealed, it is thought that Santorini, Mykonos, and Paros are among the favorites to host the new production.

Following the massive success of Season 5—which dominated global charts with nearly 27 million views in under two weeks—series creator Darren Star has confirmed that Season 6 will take Lily Collins’ titular character to the sun-drenched shores of the Aegean, and the high-octane glamour of Monaco.

While the show remains tethered to its Parisian roots, the production is leaning into the “Euro-travel” vibe that fans have come to adore.

The Greek destination of ‘Emily in Paris’

While previous seasons showcased the glitz of Saint-Tropez and the history of Rome, Greece offers a perfect blend of whitewashed Cycladic charm and upscale cosmopolitan energy.

Expect to see Emily navigating the narrow, marble-paved alleys of a Greek island. These locations provide the “blue and white” aesthetic that is practically made for Emily’s Instagram feed.

The move to Greece was telegraphed in the Season 5 finale when Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) sent a postcard inviting Emily on a Greek getaway.

Lily Collins herself dropped a major hint regarding the itinerary. “I hope I’m going to plan [Mindy’s] bachelorette in Greece,” she told Deadline. Given Mindy’s penchant for luxury and drama, the beach clubs of Paros provide the ultimate backdrop for a high-fashion celebration.

Production & global impact

Filming for Season 6 is slated to begin in May 2026. The show’s expansion reflects its status as a global powerhouse. After dropping in December 2025, Season 5 amassed 26.8 million views globally in just 11 days, hitting the top 10 list in 91 countries and securing the No. 1 spot in 24 of them, including France.

As Agence Grateau continues its international expansion, the move to Greece suggests a focus on luxury Mediterranean hospitality or perhaps a high-stakes marketing campaign for a Greek lifestyle brand.

Whether she’s there for Gabriel, for Mindy’s bachelorette party, or for a new client, one thing is certain: Emily’s suitcase will be packed with enough bright patterns to rival a Grecian sunset.
