Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,345,164,920 for the month of January 2026, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s monthly report released this week. This amounts to a 6.55 percent decrease compared to January 2025, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,439,494,060. For the fiscal year (starting July 1, 2025), the gaming win of $9,351,758,137 is almost even with an increase of 0.69 percent.
The “gaming win” represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.
For Lake Tahoe’s south shore, the “win” revenue was $24,575,361, a 10.30 percent increase when compared to January 202t. For the fiscal year, their revenue win is up by 7.43 percent when compared to the previous period. The South Shore fiscal year-to-date win is $167,557,475.
Carson Valley area casinos reported a $11,512,576 gaming win, up 3.17 percent. On the North Shore, the reported gaming win of $1,908,967 was down 4.15 percent
Casinos in Sparks, Reno and other areas of Washoe County also saw gaming-related revenue in the positive, with Sparks up 10.47 percent, Reno up 2.90 percent, and the county as a whole up 4.19 percent. The total win was $93,874,144.
The biggest gain for the month was in Wendover, where their “win” of $25,740,253 was 14.72 percent above January 2025. The largest percentage of a decrease in “win” again was on the Las Vegas Strip at 11.00 percent.
Of the South Shore’s November revenue, $8,178,000 came from table games, and $16,398,000 from slots.
For the fiscal year, the State of Nevada has collected $702,767,824 in fees from the casinos.
