New Amazon Prime Video TV Shows and Movies in February 2026

It’s the shortest month of the year, but February always feels 56 days long. Lean into it with the new erotic thriller 56 Days, starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia as a couple whose intense 56-day romance ends in murder. Prime Video’s lineup this February is heavy on all kinds of thrills — other titles coming to the streamer include Season 2 of the crime drama Cross, the new action movie The Bluff, and the Civil War-era spy series The Gray House, not to mention more NBA matchups.

Cross Season 2 (Feb. 11)

Aldis Hodge‘s Detective Alex Cross is back. Cross, which brings the James Patterson character to TV, fits squarely into Prime Video’s brand as the go-to home for book-to-streaming adaptations about intelligent tough guys (see also: Reacher, Jack Ryan, Bosch). And while we had some reservations about Season 1, Cross couldn’t ask for a better lead than Hodge. In Season 2, Cross is “in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates,” and the cast is adding some exciting names, including Matthew Lillard. We’re hoping to see this show level up this season. [Trailer]

56 Days (Feb. 18)

Nothing says Valentine’s Day is over like an erotic thriller about a whirlwind romance gone wrong. In 56 Days, Ciara (Dove Cameron) and Oliver (Avan Jogia) fall hard for each other after meeting in a supermarket, but when an unidentified body turns up at Oliver’s apartment 56 days later, the cops are left to get to the truth of who’s dead and who’s to blame. The series, which jumps between the murder investigation and the couple’s intense relationship, is based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s novel of the same name, but it moves the action from COVID lockdown-era Dublin to present-day Boston. The Bluff (Feb. 25)

Priyanka Chopra leads this swashbuckling action flick that follows a familiar template — a parent with a deadly past is forced to dust off her special set of skills to protect her family — with a new twist: This time, she’s a 19th century ex-pirate. In The Bluff, which counts the Russo brothers among its producers, Chopra plays former pirate Ercell Bodden, whose peaceful life on a remote island is threatened when her former captain (Karl Urban) hunts her down. The Gray House (Feb. 26)

Get through the last gray days of the month with The Gray House, a historical limited series about a group of women working behind enemy lines as Union spies during the American Civil War. Mary-Louise Parker, Amethyst Davis, Daisy Head, and Ben Vereen lead the cast; Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman executive produce.
