Head coach Mike Brown of the New York Knicks speaks to the media at Knicks Training Facility on September 23, 2025 in Tarrytown, New York.
The New York Knicks have recalled Tyler Kolek and Ariel Hukporti from the G-League Westchester Knicks ahead of the team’s Sunday night game against the Golden State Warriors.
Both of the two, along with Pacome Dadiet, were sent down to the G-League for a brief stint, and while Dadiet’s status for the contest vs. Golden State is still uncertain, at least both Kolek and Hukporti will be on the first-team roster for the Sunday primetime game.
The Knicks are coming off two wins in a row, but have been on an up-and-down stretch in March, now hopeful to get a win against the injury-riddled Warriors, despite facing some injury concerns of their own.

According to Rotowire staff, both Kolek and Hukporti will be available to play on Sunday in Madison Square Garden.
Both played in the G-League on Saturday in what was a blowout loss to the Noblesville Boom.
Kolek finished the game with just four points on 1/13 shooting, also recording ten assists in a total of 29 minutes. While the guard caught fire in the team’s NBA Cup Final game and has played in 55 games this season, he’s only gotten one start, and is averaging just 4.4 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 42.4% shooting in 12 minutes per night in the NBA.
Hukporti finished the night with 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists, while Dadiet had a team-high 31 points and seven rebounds on 13/23 shooting. The two have also seen some action with the Knicks this season, but neither is averaging more than two points and one rebound per game this year.
All three young players, as well as a few others on the Knicks’ roster, have consistently bounced back and forth from the NBA and the G-League as each has yet to secure a full-time spot on head coach Mike Brown’s roster.
Though it’s uncertain whether Kolek, Hukporti, or Dadiet will get minutes on Sunday against the Warriors, New York does have a few players listed on the injury report that could mean one or a few of the young players will see an elevated role.
Knicks Injury Report Vs Warriors

In the lead-up to Sunday’s contest against Golden State, the Knicks have Josh Hart (knee) and Jeremy Sochan (illness) listed as probable, after both were previously questionable for the game.
Hart has been dealing with a left knee injury and has missed the team’s last two games with the issue. The recent illness for Sochan kept him out of New York’s previous win against the Indiana Pacers, but he has failed to get consistent minutes since arriving on the team a little over a month ago.
The Knicks will also be without Miles McBride as he recovers from surgery on a core muscle he underwent in early February. Team insider Ian Begley reported his recovery process is going well, and the backup guard will likely return in a few weeks, according to the latest injury update.
What is good news for New York is that the Warriors have nine players officially listed on their injury report.
Golden State has listed Steph Curry (knee), Draymond Green (back), Jimmy Butler (ACL), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Al Horford (calf), De’Anthony Melton (knee), Moses Moody (wrist), and Seth Curry (hip) are all out against the Knicks, while Quinten Post (ankle) is questionable for the game.
New York remains a heavy favorite for the Sunday night contest, and while the team has some injuries of its own, at least Kolek, Hukporti, and potentially Dadiet will be available to play.
