Kapree Williams had 15 points and three rebounds to help give 16-seeded Newark Data Science a 59-55 victory over ninth-seeded Barringer in the quarterfinal round of the Newark Public Schools Invitational in Newark.
Wendpa Sawadogo added nine points, seven rebounds, and five assists for Newark Data Science (3-4).
Newark Data Science led 27-24 at halftime before scoring 32 points in the second half.
Barringer falls to 1-5.
