George Kittle went the classic route with Denzel Washington’s Remember the Titans as his number one pick, while Cars, Happy Gilmore, Friday Night Lights and Miracle rounded out the top five.
While Kittle’s list certainly isn’t crazy, sports fans online are certainly revealing big misses with top names left out. That includes all-time films like Hoosiers, Dodgeball, Rudy and Bull Durham.
George Kittle doubled down on some of his takes though, suggesting that Cars is a highly underrated movie and stated that “Lightning McQueen is a dawg.”
This season, Kittle and the 49ers are in the thick of the NFC playoff race as one of three teams in the NFC West currently boasting winning records. San Francisco sits at 9-4 through the first 14 weeks of the season, just one game behind the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
