Artwork by Valentina Ventura Prieto, a seventh grader at Nipher Middle School in Kirkwood, was recently selected out of over 500 student submissions for display in the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s “Picture The Music” traveling art exhibit. The program invites students to explore the connection between music and visual art. An awards ceremony honoring the finalists will be held at 7 p.m. on March 25, at Powell Hall, with artwork displayed during the ceremony.
