Olivia Rodrigo announced her new album
On Thursday, April 2, Rodrigo announced that her next album, titled, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, would be dropping on June 12. This marks the third entry into the Grammy Award winner’s impressive discography, and she’s been teasing its impending release since as early as last fall.
According to British Vogue, who listened to several of the new tracks ahead of their cover story with the singer-songwriter, “The fan theories were right: these are all love songs, but specifically about the obsession and anxiety of it—or the depression when your lover is gone.”
The Summer House drama was everywhere
Bravo viewers had quite the busy week after Summer House costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their relationship on Tuesday, March 31, following multiple rumors. Given Batula’s friendship with their other costar, Ciara Miller (Wilson’s ex), their joint statement sent shockwaves through the fan base.

Steinfeld and Allen, who tied the knot back in June 2025, announced they were expecting their first child via a sweet Instagram post in December. Since then, the actress has been sharing tidbits about her pregnancy journey in her Beau Society newsletter, taking fans along for the ride.
Then on Thursday, April 2, the actress revealed in an Instagram post shared to her newsletter’s page that their bundle of joy had been delivered, penning in the caption, “Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savoring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes. Love, Hailee and Josh.”
Are Brooks Nader and Taron Egerton dating?
The Romance Rumor Mill was hard at work again this week, this time setting its sights on Brooks Nader and Taron Egerton. According to Page Six, Deuxmoi was the first to report on the rumors after the two were spotted out together on Friday, March 27, at a showing of Project Hail Mary. Then, on Saturday, March 28, they were photographed again, this time at a restaurant in Santa Monica, Calif.
At the time of this article’s publication, neither Nader nor Egerton has confirmed these reports or commented on the matter.
Kylie Jenner shared her fave Timothée Chalamet movies
Jenner stopped by Kid Cudi’s new podcast, Big Bro With Kid Cudi, and the two chatted about her relationship with Chalamet. When asked to name her favorite films the actor has starred in, her picks were distinctly different.
“That’s hard for me because I feel like I really love them all,” Jenner told the host, adding, “But Call Me by Your Name is pretty, like, perfect, you know? It’s just pretty perfect. But I also really love the Dunes.” She then went on to reveal that she’s seen Chalamet’s musical Wonka, “like seven times.”

Earle’s first-ever skincare line, Reale Actives, became available for purchase on Tuesday, March 31. The content creator took part in several promotional events for the launch, including lighting the Empire State Building mint green.

Zendaya’s entire press tour for The Drama has been the stuff that bridal dreams are made of. She and her longtime stylist, the iconic Law Roach, have been working overtime over the last few weeks, with the actress’s red carpet ensembles following the well-known wedding adage of “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.”
The latter option was her grand finale, with Zendaya donning not one, but two to-die-for blue looks this week: the first was a luxe lace look by Zimmerman, which she wore for her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, while the second was a stunning Schiaparelli gown she wore to a special screening, which took “over 8,000 hours of craftsmanship” to complete, as the designer noted on Instagram.
Sabrina Carpenter teased a star-studded new music video
Carpenter shared on Wednesday, April 1, that her next single would be the cheeky tune “House Tour” off her Grammy Award-nominated album Man’s Best Friend. As if that weren’t fun enough news on its own, she also dropped a teaser trailer for the music video, which featured Madelyn Cline and Margaret Qualley.
Despite being announced on April Fool’s Day, the singer-songwriter confirmed that this was “no joke,” and that the music video would be premiering on Monday, April 6. So mark your calendars and head on down to “Pretty Girl Avenue,” stat!
And finally, The Masked Singer crowned their Season 14 winner
The finale of The Masked Singer Season 14 aired on Wednesday, April 1, wherein the star-studded singing competition unmasked its top four contestants and crowned the winner. In fourth place was Normani, who showed off some daring dance moves while dressed as Crane. In third place was Kylie Cantrall, who was the spooky-but-adorable Cat Witch.
The runner-up was revealed to be Phillip Phillips of American Idol fame, who was the art-themed Pugcasso. And the winner was Ashlee Simpson as Galaxy Girl, who blew the judges away all season long with her out-of-this-world performances—pun very much intended.
