There is nothing frivolous or insignificant about what female Olympians endure. The long, grueling practices, frequent injuries and time apart from loved ones would break most people. I stand in awe of everything they’ve accomplished just to get this grand stage.
And while most of New Orleans was celebrating Deep Gras, the rest of the world was laser focused on their performances. So, now with time to catch up, I am pleasantly surprised that within the seriousness of the games, there is still a little fun to be had with the fashion.
