OnePlus is teasing details of the upcoming OnePlus 15T. Previously, the company showcased the phone’s display bezels. Now, details regarding the compact flagship phone’s battery have also been revealed.
OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis revealed on Weibo that the OnePlus 15T will have a 7,500mAh battery (20K Ugreen powerbank curr. $29.98 on Amazon). It will support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Additionally, the upcoming device will support bypass charging, which draws power directly from the charger and may help prevent overheating during heavy usage.
For comparison, current flagship 6.3-inch phones like the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Vivo X300 pack 6,300mAh and 6,040mAh batteries respectively, falling short of the 15T’s 7,500mAh cell. Notably, the 15T’s battery also surpasses the 7,300mAh unit in the standard OnePlus 15, which sports a larger 6.78-inch display.
The company has yet to reveal an exact release date for the phone. However, it is rumored to launch sometime in March in China.
Leaks suggest it will sport a 6.3-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It may have a 50MP dual rear camera setup and feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Additionally, an AnTuTu listing revealed that the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
