Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Hospital in Portland, Ore., has completed construction on Vista Pavilion, a 14-story expansion on its Marquam Hill campus, according to a news release from Skanska (Portland), the developer and builder on the project.
The 530,000-square-foot addition houses 128 new patient beds and shell space for an additional 56 beds, increasing the hospital’s patient capacity by nearly one-third. Three new pedestrian sky bridges link Vista Pavilion to the hospital’s main building and the Kohler Pavilion, a 14-story, 146-bed patient care facility.
The project team also includes design firm NBBJ (Seattle).
