Where this PC goes above and beyond for the price, though, is with its massive 32GB of DDR5 RAM, large 2TB SSD, WIFI 7 connectivity, and stylish, compact PC case, with aRGB throughout. For under $1,400, this is a big win in our eyes, and well worth checking out while it’s still on sale.

Ryzen 5 9600X processor
The Ryzen 5 9600X is an excellent, cost-effective processor that pairs very well with the likes of the RX 9060 XT 16GB. It has a very high boost clock speed of 5.4GHz and a large 32MB L3 cache, which allows it to handle 1440p at high fps with ease and with little in the way of frame latency, too. It also has a decent core and thread count of 6 and 12, which may not be as high as some of the Ryzen 7 alternatives, but is still decent for multitasking, streaming, and other creative workflows. Notably, it’s an AM5 processor, which clears the way for future upgrades, should you wish to explore some higher-end models in the future. And it’s also very efficient, coming in at 65W TDP, making it a very good choice for compact PC builds such as this one, as it doesn’t require an overkill cooling solution. RX 9060 XT 16GB
The RX 9060 XT is a fantastic mid-range graphics card, which offers seriously good value for money for 1440p gaming. It has 16GB of GDDR6 memory, which is more than the RTX 5070 but slower than its newer GDDR7, and greatly improves gaming performance, particularly with modern AAA games, which consume a lot of VRAM. It’s built on RDNA 4 architure which means you’re getting improved ray tracing and AI capabilities, and FSR4 upscaling technology, which is particularly effective at lower resolutions, like 1080p and 1440p.
Storage and RAM
For the price, this PC gives you a lot of RAM and storage, coming in at 32GB of DDR5 with a 2TB SSD. This amount of RAM is going to ensure that you can play very demanding open-world games, like Cyberpunk 2077, at high settings in 1440p without much in the way of stutter, and it’s also going to ensure that using RAM-intensive creative applications, like Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro, feel responsive and snappy, too. 2TB of storage is more than enough for most people, and can easily store a good handful of games alongside your other files.
Things to consider
For better overall performance, you’ll want to check out some of the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB models, many of which can be found on sale, but headsup, they’re a touch more expensive on average. Personally, I think the RX 9060 XT 16GB would be my choice for better value, and then I would put the extra $200 or so I would have spent on an RTX 5060 Ti model towards a better QHD monitor, potentially a 240hz, QD-OLED display. But, if you’re keen to have a prebuild with something great for 1440p that has all the latest tech, like 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, GDDR7 memory, and exclusive features like MFG, Nvidia Broadcast, and 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders, then an RTX 5060 Ti PC may be more up your street.
