Greek literature took center stage at the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair – a major annual literary event held in the UAE – where Greece was honored as the fair’s guest country. The event showcased Arabic translations of Greek literary works, along with a series of programs spotlighting centuries of cultural ties between Greeks and Arabs. The fair, which began on November 5, ends on Sunday.
