PANDA Fashion Show at Arizona Biltmore: Supporting Pediatric Research

As president, I’m mindful of PANDA’s legacy and the women who built such a strong foundation before me. Honoring that history while guiding the organization forward is a balance I take seriously. What feels most exciting right now is the energy around PANDA’s next chapter: the expansion of our reach, the strength of our community and the impact of the research we support.

PANDA has built an extraordinary network of women committed to advancing pediatric research. How does that energy come to life?

PANDA is a powerful example of what collective philanthropy can accomplish. When women come together with a shared purpose, the result is not only greater funding for research but also a deeper, more sustained commitment to the cause. That collective energy is very present at our event—you can feel it in the conversations, the engagement and the shared sense of pride.

Can you paint a picture of the event, which benefits the Steele Children’s Research Center?

For first-time attendees, the event is designed to feel warm and inspiring. The atmosphere is polished yet fun, with thoughtful programming and meaningful moments throughout the day, culminating in our 69 models and patient models walking the runway in our Children Helping Children fashion show. Most of all, it’s an experience that helps people feel connected to PANDA, to one another and to the mission.
