Physical music and vinyl pressing agency Breed Media makes new hires as revenue increases 20% | Labels

Breed Media has made two new appointments, following strong performance results.

The physical music manufacturing and vinyl pressing agency specialises in supporting emerging artists and independent labels.

Breed Media, which is part of the Key Production Group of companies, has reported a 20% year-on-year increase in turnover for 2025.

It marks the latest increase in a period of sustained growth, with overall revenue up 134% since 2018 and individual orders of vinyl and CDs rising by 71 per cent over the same period.

These findings mirror wider market trends, with BPI data showing that 2025 marked the 18th consecutive year of growth for vinyl LP sales, with the market up 13.3% year on year.

Jamie Slaughter

To continue this growth, Breed Media has expanded its sales team with the addition of Jamie Slaughter to the team. Slaughter’s role will focus on connecting with a new generation of artists and labels, bringing Breed Media’s services to new clients.

Maria Stundon has also been appointed as operations lead and will manage the company’s business workflow and support its continued growth.

Jamie Slaughter, sales manager at Breed Media, said: “Breed Media has been quietly doing exceptional work behind the scenes for years. Last year was a record-breaking year for Breed, which contributed to four number-one albums, and we’ve already kicked off the year by announcing the winner of the national Record Store Day Unsigned competition, delivered in partnership with ERA to support and spotlight emerging talent.”

I’ll be working closely with the amazing existing team to manage the company’s business workflow and drive our strategic plans forward. I can’t wait to grow and shape the future of the business alongside everyone at Breed whilst continuing to support the independent labels and artists with their releases.”

Founded in 2007, Breed Media offers end-to-end manufacturing solutions in vinyl, CD and more to independent artists and labels. The company said it is “committed to backing rising talent and creating real opportunities”.

In the past year, the company has contributed to eight UK Top 10 albums, including four No.1s: God Shaped Hole by Those Damn Crows, Pretty On The Internet by The Ks, Koko by The Lottery Winners and Even In Arcadia by the Grammy-nominated Sleep Token.
