Canada’s Tube-Mac Piping Technologies Ltd will make its maiden Posidonia appearance this summer, introducing its non-welded pipe connection systems to the international shipping community.
Headquartered in Ontario, the company specialises in mechanically attached pipe fittings that enable fast, safe and low-carbon repairs across marine, offshore and industrial applications.
At Posidonia 2026, on June 1-5 at the Metropolitan Expo center by the Athens airport, Tube-Mac will showcase its PYPLOK fittings for the repair of heating coil lines on oil tankers and other vessels, with live demonstrations showing how the swaging tool installs the fittings without welding, hot work or fumes. The technology delivers a significantly lower environmental footprint compared to traditional welded repairs, while also improving safety and turnaround times.
Chris Peitchinis, Vice President of Business Development at Tube-Mac, said: “Greece remains the world’s leading shipping nation, particularly in tankers and bulk carriers, and Posidonia 2026 gives us the ideal platform to introduce our pipe repair solutions to this market and build new partnerships.”
With production and service facilities in Canada, the US, Spain, Austria and Singapore, Tube-Mac is actively seeking a good distributor or an authorized installer in Greece to support its pipe repair business for ships and tankers.
