The 27th Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum successfully concluded in New York with the core message that Greece has definitively moved past its crisis-era image and is now a success story of strong recovery and a reliable investment destination.

Prime Minister Mitsotakis’s video message

In his video message to the forum, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted the exceptional opportunities available, stating that Greece is an increasingly attractive investment hub offering “high growth opportunities.”

He attributed this success to several factors, including the healthy fiscal fundamentals, a clear geopolitical orientation, and political stability.

The Prime Minister forecasted that 2026 will be another successful year for the Greek economy, foreign direct investment, and bilateral ties with the US. He also cited recent extensive energy agreements signed in Athens concerning the distribution of U.S. Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Greece to northern regional countries, including Ukraine, as proof of Greece’s strategic importance.
