Key features of this ASUS ROG Swift 32-inch 4K monitor
4K and 32 inches
If you’re going for a 4K monitor, I’d say it’s worth having a larger screen like this 32-inch option. It’s going to really showcase the higher resolution and look notably different from a QHD 32-inch monitor, and its larger size is going to be great for increasing immersion and non-gaming tasks, like content creation, video editing, or having multiple windows open at the same time. At this size, this monitor also makes a lot of sense as a main screen, for gaming, watching content, and productivity, too.
QD-OLED display
As I’ve said a million times, QD-OLED is where it’s at if you’re after lifelike picture quality, as it boasts incredible broad, accurate color, epic contrast, and decent brightness, too. This one has a VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification, which essentially means it has to tick a few boxes when it comes to color, brightness, and how deep its blacks are. In short, it’s a great sign that it delivers the goods in these departments. Notably, this monitor has 99% DCI-P3 color with Delta E<2 color accuracy, which makes it great for making games look their best, but also brilliant for video editors, too.

240Hz and 0.03ms response time
For a 4K monitor, this is pretty top-tier and very much designed for high-end gaming rigs in mind, as it supports up to 240fps. Its response time is very low, which is going to reduce motion blur substantially and allow you to be able to follow what’s happening on screen much more easily. That’s great for competitive gaming, in particular. It also features FreeSync Premium Pro, so you’re going to be getting vastly improved HDR gaming performance and low-framerate compensation, alongside all the anti-screen-tearing and anti-stutter capabilities that the base-level FreeSync offers.
Anti-burn-in features
This monitor goes all-in when it comes to burn-in protection, and alongside the usual heatsinks and features to keep it from overheating in a general sense, it offers an extensive suite of tech, which can identify potential burn-in risks and adjust settings automatically to prevent damage. For instance, using pixel shift, it can actually move the whole image by one pixel, frequently but unnoticeably, to prevent burn-in when using this monitor for extended periods, and that’s just one of many features designed to give you peace of mind.

Things to consider
Personally, even though they’re usually a touch more expensive, I think dual-resolution 4K monitors are the way to go if you’re looking to spend the big bucks. They’re going to allow you to game at 1080p, or sometimes 1440p, at higher refresh rates and on a smaller screen within the screen itself, which solves the issue that 32-inch 4K monitors aren’t optimal for competitive gaming. ASUS ROG has some options that are worth checking out, as do MSI and LG UltraGear. LG’s are actually pretty impressive, and in many cases are ‘World’s first’, and can have super high refresh rates, which are impressive, but perhaps a little overkill for most.
