This premium, and super stylish, Skytech Aqua Gaming PC is now $300 off at Amazon, and has been reduced from $2,299.99 to $1,999.99 for a limited time. While that may be a bit more pricey than your standard RTX 5070 build, it earns its price tag by packing one of the top Intel CPUs on the market, the Core Ultra 9 285K, which is a beast for content creation, very heavy multitasking, and gaming, too. On top of that, this build features 32GB of DDR5, giving you plenty of headroom for demanding games and content creation workflows. It’s back at its best price of the year on Amazon, so if you’re looking for something epic for 1440p gaming, with brilliant workstation capabilities, and super eye-catching looks, then this could be just the right time to jump on this deal.

Key features of this Skytech Aqua RTX 5070 gaming PC

RTX 5070 graphics card for high refresh rate 1440p gaming

This PC features an RTX 5070, which is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p at ultra settings at high framerates, and with builds typically hovering between $1,500 and $2,000, it’s a popular option for those sticking to a mid-range price bracket, too. In terms of new features, you’re getting 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and faster, high-bandwidth GDDR7 memory. It has 12GB of GDDR7, which is a good amount for 1440p and can be used for 4K, but with heavy support from DLSS and MFG. For content creation, it’s also a big step up from some of the more entry-level 50-series cards and is a good option for video editing, 3D rendering, and more, again, without completely breaking the bank. Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor for powerhouse productivity, multitasking, and gaming performance

This processor is the top dog from Intel’s new lineup, and is one of the best CPUs to go for if you’re after something more well-rounded than your typical, but popular, Ryzen X3D alternative. Rather than being strictly a gaming-first processor, the 9 285K offers outstanding content creation, multitasking, and workstation capabilities. It has a very high 5.7GHz boost clock, 24 cores (8P and 16E), 24 threads, and a large 36MB L3 cache. Not only are you getting something that can deliver high fps with low frame latency at the RTX 5070’s target resolutions, but it’s something that can make short work out of various heavy multitasking loads, demanding creative workflows encountered in applicsations like Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro, and can even use its dedicated NPU to accelerate AI tasks, too. RAM and storage

While the storage may be a relatively modest 1TB, the RAM here is a big win. Having 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz RAM is going to make all the difference if you’re playing asset-heavy gaming, like open-world titles or simulators, and it’s also going to give you a bunch of headroom when working on large videos, photos, or 3D models, ensuring your system remains snappy and responsive even under heavy loads.

Things to consider

When it comes to RTX 5070 builds, personally, I think the best option for content creation and gaming would be an Intel Core Ultra 7-265K PC. These generally come in at around $1,700, roughly speaking, and I think they make more sense for a graphics card like the RTX 5070. This particular build is a higher-end option, but for $2,000, you could start bumping into some lower-end RTX 5070 Ti models, which have 16GB of VRAM and are even better for 1440p (and 4K). This would be a great option to go for from Lenovo, in my opinion, if you’re looking for alternatives.
