PRESS RELEASE: Campus Riot Co. Expands as Student-Focused Fashion & Culture Publication During High-Energy Spring Semester at Indiana University

As March Madness returns and campus energy builds following a headline football season, a new independent fashion and culture publication centered on student style at Indiana University Bloomington is gaining momentum.

Campus Riot Co. has released its expanded 28-page spring issue, growing from a four-page debut earlier this year into a full-length student-focused editorial publication. The magazine documents the visual culture of campus life during one of the most high-profile times of the academic year — from game day fashion and Kirkwood Avenue street style to student-driven creative editorials and cultural profiles.

Spring at IU brings packed watch parties, crowded coffee shops and layered red-and-white outfits that signal school pride. Campus Riot Co. positions fashion as part of that energy — not separate from it. The new issue includes a Game Day fashion feature, a gender-fluid style pictorial, student profiles and campus-centered photography created in collaboration with local creatives and small businesses.

“March is when the campus feels fully alive,” said founder Martin Boling. “You see students expressing identity through style at games, on Kirkwood, and in everyday spaces. Campus Riot Co. exists to document that moment and treat it with the same visual care you’d expect from a fashion publication — but rooted here at IU.”

While independently produced, the publication centers on IU students and Bloomington’s creative community, serving as a collaborative platform for photographers, writers, models and student entrepreneurs.
