Princess of Wales proves the power of a royal re-wear at Easter Sunday service

Charlotte’s coat replicates a Katherine Hooker style worn by her mother for her first royal engagement in February 2011, giving it an added sense of history and nostalgia.

True to form, Princess Anne was also in a style-recycling mood on Sunday, taking the trend a step further by re-wearing a teal coat she also wore on Easter Sunday in 2018. She’s worn it several times since, too, at Cheltenham Festival and for a visit to the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. Putting realistic practicality ahead of any notions of channelling the arrival of spring, the Princess wore the coat with a pair of warm knee-high suede boots.
