Aj Dybantsa, man, we appreciate your time.

Season’s over, you’re looking forward a little bit.

Have you made any decisions about what, is next for AJ Dybantsa?

You wanna break on the show?

No, I haven’t.

I haven’t talked to my mom.

She’s pretty much been making a lot of decisions in life for me.

she decided, where I went to high school.

she, she conf- I said I was going to BYU, she confirmed that BYU was good for me.

So she’s kind of been making the decisions.

Why do you do, like, why do you choose to do it that way?

she just has like a, like a knack for things.

Like she just, I mean, she’s never star- steered me the wrong way.

doesn’t matter what in life, just if I ever come to her for some advice or anything, she never steered me the wrong way.

So, you know, I, I have my, all my trust in her and then the utmost faith that she’ll make the right decision for me.

From a human element, AJ, right, like you could be in Utah next year, you could be in some random NBA city.

Like do you ever just sit back and, and sort of think about the fact that so much life could change in the next three months?

I mean, yeah.

Like, I mean, I’m on, I’m on social media.

I see people putting different jerseys on me, and I see all the edits.

But I mean, I just try to tune it out because I don’t even know what I’m doing, so I can’t really, can’t really get too excited or anything like that until it’s a firm decision.

I know she wants me to graduate college.

so I, I don’t know if she’s just basing it off of, “Yeah, you’re gonna stay in school to graduate,” or she just wants me to, go accomplish my dreams.

Who knows?

So if your mom wants you to stay for four years and get a degree at BYU and play basketball the whole time, you’re in for that.

Well, you’re, you’re, you’re committed to whatever.

Okay.

Have you paid any attention to this NBA season and the teams that are bad and the, where you could end up being?

Yeah.

I mean, I watch, I watch the NBA regardless.

I’ve been watching the NBA for as long as I can remember.

I know what teams are good, I know what teams are bad.

So I mean, obviously I’m seeing how, I see all the tank-a-thons.

I see, I see everything.

I mean, I’m on social media.

I’m not gonna play dumb, see, like, and say that I don’t see anything.

All right.

So you’re joining us on behalf of Red Bull, and we go back and look at how you picked BYU, ’cause this is epic.

The Red Bull Air Force skydiving team came down from the heavens with the hat delivery.

That is absolutely epic work.

so here’s the real question, man.

When you decide, when your mom helps you decide what’s coming next, what, what are we doing the top skydiving to announce it to the world?

I don’t, I don’t know what tops this.

This was crazy.

When they brought m- the, when they brought me this idea, I didn’t really know what to do.

But they just told me I have to stand there, and and he’ll pretty much do the rest.

but who knows what we’ll do- Would you have skydived with him?

Nah.

No, no, no.

Nah, not right now.

I think I’ll eventually try skydiving.

I think I’ll eventually- Yeah when I’m done playing basketball, I will jump out a plane
