QUINCY (WGEM) – The Quincy Together committee announced they will be changing the third topic of their workshop to “Our Financial Future.”
On March 24, Ryan Whicker, chief of business operations, will present an introduction to the school finance process and explain how it affects the district and its financial future. The committee will gather feedback from the attendees afterward to help develop recommendations to the school board.
The change to the workshop comes after gathering feedback from their first two workshops, according to Anna Oakley, communications officer for Quincy Public Schools.
Oakley reported the change reflects the committee’s commitment to addressing responses and priorities identified during the first two workshops.
Oakley stated the entire Quincy community is encouraged to attend.
