Raquel Ballestero has been appointed as the new corporate finance partner at Vaciero’s Madrid offices. Ballestero joined Vaciero in 2021. During this time, she has been involved in complex M&A transactions, financing and refinancing deals, investment strategies, the formalisation of strategic business plans and expert reports.
In addition, since 2024 she has been actively involved in Vaciero’s collaboration with the international association Allinial Global, expanding the firm’s international client base and acting as a speaker at events in Europe and Latin America.
She holds degrees in Law and in Business Administration from the University of Valladolid, a master’s degree in Auditing and Executive Development from Loyola University, and specialises in corporate restructurings, refinancing and insolvency from IE Law School. She has also been a registered auditor with the ROAC since 2020. Currently, Ballestero combines her professional work with teaching as a Finance lecturer at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, and is a regular speaker at conferences and professional forums in her field.
