Crvena Zvezda haven’t lost any of their last four home major European knockout matches (W2 D2) since a 2-1 defeat to Slovan Liberec in September 2006 in the UEFA Cup.
Lille have won just two of their 16 away major European knockout matches (D7 L7), beating Fiorentina 1-0 in November 2001 in the UEFA Cup and Sturm Graz 2-0 in March 2024 in the Conference League.
When losing the first leg of any major European competition knockout round tie, Lille have never advanced to the next round of the competition, suffering that fate on five occasions with their most recent coming via a UEFA Conference League quarter final defeat to Aston Villa in April 2024.
