A night of fashion and fundraising is returning to Reno this weekend, bringing a closer look at the women and children competing for statewide titles.
The Miss Nevada Scholarship Foundation is hosting its second annual “Stepping into Scholarships” fundraising event and regional fashion show at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Reno Public Market.
The event serves as both a fundraiser for the foundation and an introduction to this year’s class of delegates competing for the titles of Miss Nevada and Miss Nevada’s Teen.
During the fashion show, delegates will showcase handmade shoe creations and costumes in a public event that is free to attend. A private, ticketed portion of the evening will follow upstairs immediately after the show.
Tickets for the private event range from $20 to $30 and include food and beverages from Reno Public Market vendors, premier seating for the fashion show, and a meet and greet with Miss Nevada, Abigail Bachman, and Miss Nevada’s Teen, Tahmea Dowdell, along with photo opportunities.
