Ricky Martin to perform at Ravinia Festival this summer – NBC Chicago

Ricky Martin, the Puerto Rican singer who became one of the most popular Latin artists of all time, will take the stage at a revered music festival in suburban Chicago this summer.

Martin, 50, will perform at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park on the night on Thursday, Aug. 20, a spokesperson confirmed to NBC 5 Chicago/Telemundo Chicago. Known for hits such as  “Livin’ la Vida Loca” and “La copa de la vida,” Martin has earned a number of awards, including two Grammys and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Most recently, he made a surprise appearance during Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl LX halftime show.

This summer’s lineup features other prominent names in music, including Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Ray LaMontagne and Alison Krauss.

“Here’s what we’ve leaked so far,” Ravinia posted on social media Feb. 19.

The complete lineup will be revealed on March 12.

Ravinia starts its 2026 concert season in July, with indoor concerts getting underway in June. The popular music festival’s full season includes more than 100 concerts every summer and through September, organizers previously said.
