Sarah Jessica Parker Wore Ugg’s Tazz Platform Slippers

No one gets conflated with the character they play more than Sarah Jessica Parker. To many, she is Carrie Bradshaw. But in the fall, SJP did something the Manolo Blahnik-loyalist would probably consider a fashion sin: She went out in New York City wearing a pair of easy slip-on Uggs.

I know some people feel a certain way about Uggs in the wild—namely, that they shouldn’t leave the house—but for me, cold weather is when you should embrace feel-good styles. So, of course, I’m here for her platform Tazz slippers

Ugg Tazz II Platform Slippers

Nordstrom

The shearling-lined clogs feature red stitching and a small platform, so not only are they ridiculously cozy and warm enough for winter’s coldest mornings, but they’re pretty cool, too. The slippers bring a laid-back, young-looking feel to all your everyday outfits—from cozy sweaters sets to classic blue jeans—and the suede exterior adds a luxe touch. I’m making sure to snag SJP’s exact style for myself while it’s still in stock. But if you’d prefer something a little more affordable, I sourced five under-$100 lookalikes you can shop below.

5 Under-$100 Cozy Winter Clogs

Litfun Fuzzy House Clogs

Amazon

To get the look for way less, snag these Amazon slippers while they’re on sale for just $38 with an onsite coupon. They have that cool platform, fuzzy lining, soft faux suede exterior, and SJP’s exact chestnut brown shade. Of course, at this seriously low price point, you won’t be getting the same Ugg quality, but for anyone on the fence about the style, this option is a great way to test it before committing to a pricier pair.

Quince Australian Shearling-Lined Platform Clogs

Quince

Quince’s platform clogs offer that same high quality for little less. These are made from real suede and feature a 100-percent Australian shearling lining. They’re not as exciting as SJP’s Uggs (I can’t help but love her style’s standout red stitching), but they definitely do the trick.

Ugg Lanah Clogs

Nordstrom Rack

I’m always in favor of shopping the OG brand rather than a lookalike, so I was very happy to find these Uggs on sale for less than $100 at Nordstrom Rack. While these clogs don’t share all of the same details, you get the essentials: a suede exterior and a shearling lining. Plus, these have a practical strap that you can wear around the back of your heel for a no-slip fit.

Koolaburra by Ugg Burree Platform Slippers

Zappos

It’s safe to say SJP is a fan of Ugg, but last year, she told InStyle that she’s also “loving” its more affordable sister brand Koolaburra. Fortunately, it has a lookalike style for the platform Tazz slippers that’s on sale for just $66 at Zappos. While these are very similar, they do have one main difference: The Tazz clogs are lined with genuine shearling, but these have a faux fur interior.

Project Cloud Platform Clogs

Amazon

Project Cloud’s suede clogs might be the most practical style on this list. Not only do they have a no-slip ankle strap, but they’re the only shoe without a fuzzy lining. Though seriously soft and perfect for cold weather, fur might not be the best for warmer climates or anyone who runs hot.
