Science Museum of Minnesota ramps up for big fundraiser

The Science Museum of Minnesota’s “Science Celebration” on April 30 offers engaging exhibits and unique dining to support vital research on environmental change.

ST PAUL, Minn. — Employees at the Science Museum of Minnesota are gearing up for their biggest annual fundraising event.

“Science Celebration” is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, from 6 to 10 p.m.

This year’s theme is “An Elemental Evening.”

Attendees can expect immersive element-inspired installations — from garden-fresh cuisine and underwater photo moments to air-powered interactions and fire-themed cocktails.

The event supports scientists at the museum who study everything from paleontology to water quality issues, helping communities understand environmental change and how systems behave.

Tickets are $150 ticket and give you access to museum exhibits, interactive science demonstrations and performances, exceptional dining, fundraising games and entertainment.

Alison Rempel Brown and Jen Maren joined KARE 11 Saturday to discuss the upcoming night.
