ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent announced that two G20 Finance Track 2026 meetings will be held in Asheville.
The meetings will host the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors.
Secretary Bessent said, “I am proud to spotlight that the United States will host the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors in Asheville, North Carolina. The selection of historic Asheville reflects the Trump Administration’s commitment to the revitalization and resilience of western North Carolina, which continues to rebuild after the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene.”
A finance and central bank deputies meeting is scheduled for Aug. 29 through 30 in Asheville. A meeting with finance ministers and central bank governors will take place after that from Aug. 31 to Sep. 1.
