See how internet reacted to Bam Adebayo’s historic 83-point NBA game

Yes, that’s right. Bam Adebayo had 83 points in an NBA game.

On March 10, he scored the second-most points in a single NBA game all-time during the Miami Heat’s 150-129 win over the Washington Wizards. The only player with more is legendary center Wilt Chamberlain, who scored 100 points in a game in 1962.

Through the first quarter, Adebayo had scored 31. He reached 43 by the half and broke Lebron James’ franchise scoring record of 61 points with 22 seconds remaining in the third quarter.

Adebayo recorded the most free throws made in a game with 36 and the most free throws attempted with 43. Adebayo also shot 22 3-point attempts, tied for the third-most in NBA history.

His 83 points were the most scored in the NBA since Kobe Bryant poured in 81 in a 2006 game.
