Medfield High School’s annual Senior Fashion Show happened this past weekend, giving the seniors a chance to show off their creativity, style, and have some fun with their friends. Plus, all the proceeds and donations go towards the All Night Grad Party, which gives them a safe environment to celebrate all the work they’ve put in to get to this point.

Emcees Jack Gage and Joe Foscaldo kicked off the night with announcing the first category Night On The Town. They came out dressed in their best dresses and suits like prom came early. Each participant had fun facts read aloud by the emcees, anything from how many days they’ve missed of school in a row to being taller than their friends. You could feel their energy in the auditorium filled with laughter, cheers from friends and family, and how they set up each entrance.

The night was full of memorable moments from each category. In Anything Goes 1 there was Ava Kraus, Jordan Iovino, Stella Scobbo, Ava Pender, and Lindsay Barrett who dressed up as character from Spongebob, and Ava Morrison, Megan Dorman, Grace Harvey, and Athena Polechronis, who wore inflatable cow costumes and an inflatable panda one, bringing in two different lovable black and white animals. Ending with Day Out At The Country Club, the show broke for intermission before picking up with the Decades category.

While Henry Keysor, Will Henry, Ethan Drummond, Cullen Doyle, Braeden Sutton, and Jackson Howard adorned clothes from the early 2010s in what most of us would think was normal for decades, Lauren Barr, Karen Wu, and Julia Molloy had a different idea. Their outfits came from the 1770s, just in time for the country’s 250th anniversary. Complete with American flags waving and tricorn hats they were certainly from a past decade.

Anything Goes was such a popular category that they did it twice! Lily Lewis and Sam George dressed up as two of their teachers, Mrs. Evans and Mr. Bueller, which had other staff in the crowd cracking up. From famed athletes, pool guys, and Donna and the Dynamos, the students let their creativity speak for itself.

Last but definitely not least was A Little Bit Country. A lot of the students came out with cowboy boots, flannel, and a cowboy hat to top it off, Liam Kane, Andrit Dardha, and Max Dunne had Dardha in a horse costume and ran on all fours on stage. Maira Kirchoff took the stage by storm in a red western-inspired gown that she sewed herself. Complete with a fan giving the southern belle edge, she had some real talent woven into those stitches.

With a final video celebrating the behind the scenes, the announcement of raffle winners, and the students storming the stage in Medfield HS colors, it was a fun and creative night for them to have a good time and dress up in whatever way they wished.
