Greece faces severe weather as the National Meteorological Service (EMY) issues an updated orange warning for heavy storms, hail and strong winds, signaling potentially dangerous conditions.
Western Central Greece and the western Peloponnese are expected to see heavy rain and thunderstorms on Friday, spreading across the rest of the Peloponnese later in the day.
Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Attica, Evia, the northeastern Aegean islands and the Dodecanese will experience intense rainfall and possible hail through Saturday.
Strong southern winds up to 8 Beaufort will hit the central and northern Aegean and Thrace Friday evening.
