Croco was named MVP five times during the Demacia Cup
Oh My God’s run in the Demacia Cup comes to an end after a strong performance, falling 3-2 to LNG Esports in the quarterfinals, just one game short of the semifinals. The semifinal will see LNG face Invictus Gaming offline at the Xi’an Qujiang Esports Center.
LNG thus place their jungler Kim “Croco” Dong-beom at the top of the list for most MVP awards (five) in this edition of the Demacia Cup so far, tied with OMG’s AD Carry Lei “Starry” Ming, who is now out of the running. LNG qualify for the offline stage of the competition, during which coach communications will be introduced.
LNG Esports’ comeback
LNG finally seems back with a competitive roster. The team, which had strong years in the LPL in 2023 and 2024, including Worlds appearances, had completely disappeared from the radar in 2025. It was a tough year, but the roster set for next season already looks more promising. They securing at least a top 3–4 finish in this Demacia Cup, already guaranteeing a cash prize of ¥200,000 (around €24,145).
For his third year in the LPL, Xu “sheer” Wen-Jie joined LNG and is showing increasing maturity in lane. The return of Korean jungler Kim “Croco” Dong-beom to China already seems to be a success; as he was with OKSavingsBank BRION in the LCK, he is once again the team’s heartbeat and metronome.
Lee “BuLLDoG” Tae-young also appears to be adapting well to China after several years in Korea, but it’s truly the bot lane that can shine. At 21, Li “1xn” Xiu-Nan forms a strong pair with Lou “MISSING” Yun-Feng, who returned after a break during Split 3 of 2025. While the team isn’t considered a favorite in the league, they should definitely cause problems for the top of the table at times.
